  16. I can only echo these experiences. I work with Wordworth rather than FW
  17. but thank the heavens that we have such packages available. We must
  18. routinely translate from WP and Word from manuscripts sent
  19. by colleagues, and working in native Word or WordPerfect has been
  20. a nightmare when graphics are involved, or special aspects
  21. are needed; just a day ago, we ended by sending a colleague
  22. THREE versions of a manuscript in WP6, WP5.1 and Word, because
  23. something in the file was crashing his system!
  24. As the previous poster implied, printing postscript
  25. is usually a hassle with WP. We found this even years ago
  26. when WP wrote their own drivers for postscript on the Amiga-
  27. really substantial problems printing to an Apple Laserwriter.
  28. However, our own world is rapidly moving to a Word/WP only
  29. environment. The situation makes the need for import/export
  30. conversions for WW and FW all the more important.

  32. I find the graphic import facilities of WW and FW incredibly more
  33. user friendly, useable, and borader in scope than the 
  34. (thats broader) clone packages.
